Tricky business remixing a classic. One of Hardloors greatest moments (a track like no other) & something I wouldn't want to tackle myself for fear of falling way short... but... Work focuses on the more emotive sections of the original turning out a melancholic deep slo- mo house affair which smartly avoids trying to better or alter the original; making for an alternative take in a different genre & does a very good job.

Freaks do what they do best; JH & LS's trademark swirly phased hats & wonky percussion; also taking a slowed down deep approach, but here led by piano & electric keys & a big warm bassline. Perhaps one of their most memorable remixes.

Despite getting it right & playing safe against HF's original; neither track in their own right quite manage to create anything of equal merit, but I doubt anything else would either. As I said, a tough gig...

Fanfreakingtastic I the first time I heard the original mix in 96 on some mixed tape. Years later I was able to find out what it was and its been in my collection ever since. Goes soo good with hardfloors blue monday remix. Everything on the record is great but the original is gold!

If there was any justice in the world (And There Isn't)...This tune should have stormed the planet!
I discovered hardfloor through a friend and the respect LP was the first one that got me into these guys.
MR's infectious percussion, sheer good time feel, and quality production make this record one of my all time faves to this day.

Say what you will about the 'floor, but when they hit gold, they hit it big.
So much so that the bbc used this track as a bed for there programme announcements, fair play to 'em!
