Got a copy of this from new. Unfortunately, the spine was wrecked by cats many years ago, but the vinyl itself is still in pretty good nick. The song has always been strong, but this mix is like a little journey. Brilliant

Enjoy the Silence (Quad Mix) is pretty much worth the price of ission alone. It's a frankly crazed version of the original which delves into abstract-noise, string orchestra synth arrangements, and other things. Mine plays with light crackle in the middle and it still kicks ass primarily because the mix is cut super loud.

Completists take note: The version of the Ricki Tik Tiki's Mix presented here is about half a minute shorter that the version on the 12".

This cd sounds amazing compared to the same mix on the 2004 Singles Box 4 cd - so much less compressed. Definitely worth tracking down if you like this mix and want a cd version with the original full dynamic range.
