The "Edit" versions on the US promotional 12 inch single are actually the "Single" versions, mislabeled by Sire. But sleeve is special and unusual.

It's a nice recording with interesting versions of some of not that famous Depeche Mode songs.

This is what happens with cheap vinyl - common in Eire and US - the record is not translucent until you hold it up against a strong light, then it is slightly brown/reddish tendency to transparent, but rather, translucent.

Nothing fancy on this release other than it was a promotional copy only. The songs can be found in other releases and not hard to find. For example, (Set Me Free) Remotivate Me" at 4:13 runtime is the 7" Mix which can be found in the "Master and Servant" single releases.

I once had front row seat to the Mode gig at the LA Colosseum in the mid-80's. They did this track and it was simply awesome. A band that knows how to deliver a great live performance.

Is the 12" version (UK https://www.discogs.sitioby.com/Depeche-Mode-Blasphemous-Rumours/release/2861464) the only official record with songs from three DM songwriters on one side? Gore, Clarke & Wilder.

My copy came in the standard black sleeve, and i bought this brand new at the time, I've only just found out they don't match! Has anyone else's copy come like this, or perhaps was it a mistake made by the shop at the time?
