Goblin – Roller

Loud and mostly quiet but did anyone else get a copy that has A4 on B1?

Nice album. The instrumental music sounds like a soundtrack, even if it's not. And it runs from sounding like Pink Floyd to '70s porno.

Was lucky enough to pick this up recently and it is superb. Clean and quiet from the get go and it’s a wonderfully detailed pressing. Big bottom end. Nice gatefold adds quality and the translucent purple is really purty!

Finally I got this album. Cheaper from Japan than some new coloured vinyl of unknown quality. This sounded great. Although I am a bit sick with a stuffed up head.

Clean and bright, yet punchy and tight. Surface noise is barely noticable. Great re-issue!

Everything about this album is great. Flat, quiet pressing. The music packs a punch and is overall a wonderful listening experience. Worth buying 100%. Everything about this release is “crystal”

blasting this at the moment, and besides 2 clicks and a pop on side 2 (that are back to back on the track) and some faint surface noise in the transition space, its an amazingly sharp record.
Cinevox rarely disappoints.. the only bad Goblin pressing i think i have (im getting quite the collection here lol) are the inner grooves on Notturno.. really crappy distortions as you approach the run outs (that and "Bass Theme" REAAALLLY needs a proper remastering, sound fine on CD)
if you find a copy of Roller, and still need one.. dont be afraid to take the chance.. (i got mine used myself)

Amazing how Goblin have been mass lumped into the prog rock pigeon- hole by every media host. Listen to the jazz keys dominating their catalogue of music, and the breakout moments of raw funk. That's why Goblin rate so high, the depth of influences & skill set of the band is mind- boggling.
