I cannot find any substantial info on this label ; 'digging diamonds' , so i'm not sure if this series of vinyl reissues are official or not ?
If anyone has any Information, it would be appreciated.
As this album had not been released on vinyl before, i decided to take the plunge with this release. The pressing itself seems pretty good and i hear no evidence of distortion or obvious pops/clicks etc. The mastering seems ok ... if anything , some tracks sound a little dull / less dynamic compared to others .
The artwork and sleeve layout feels somewhat cheap. I wish they would have used the original artworks for each album. From what i can see on discogs, it looks like each 'digging diamonds' reissue uses a different portrait drawing inside each gatefold cover. Both inner sleeves have the same collage of images, but one of the sleeves has been printed using different colours to the other.
There is no digital code with this release.
Happy to have picked this up at a reasonable price.
