Braid – Frame & Canvas

Lots of surface noise and some distortion on side B, other wise a really good record.

For anyone who owns this, does this contain the new remix or the original mix?

Looks fantastic and sounds fantastic too - great pressing for sure.

This color is really gorgeous. Looks like actual melted copper. Sounds fantastic as well, from an interesting new master that highlights the drums more. Personally, I miss some of the guitar interplay being in the forefront, but we can always go back to the originals for that. Quite happy with this version.

Anyone else get this without an insert? I was expecting the embossed cover and extra bits a la the other remastered pressings but fairly barebones except for the Bandbox zine.

Anyone want to sell this for a semi-reasonable price to a broke, old emo???

this pressing sounds really great. the remaster is one of the best ever made in this genre generally and the pressing itself is quiet (very low surface noise) and clear. it really brings the recordings to life. the color, however, is not really "silver" but more of an offwhite marble kind of shade. very pretty but not silver.

How's the sound on this new remix then? On Spotify it sounds mostly very good, possibly a bit less loud and compressed than the original mix, but question is how does that translate to the LP pressing.

I don't think this was Remastered right? It says original mix. The sound is good though.

A little surface noise in places and one big pop on the B side, but pretty good overall. good full sound
