not sure why this version is different to this version https://www.discogs.sitioby.com/release/1950-Frankie-Knuckles-Baby-Wants-To-Ride which has the same catalogue and tracks but different track lengths, and is far cheaper? -
Nice loud UK press of two classics. Considering how ropey the original Trax pressings often are, this is probably the best way you're going to get these two

Bit of a shame that nowhere on this release does it mention Jamie Principle (other than the small credit under his real name, Byron Walton). Two wonderful tunes, but credit where it's due! -

Edited 5 years agoI think when I originally hear this track it has growls. Can anyone confirm this have been removed? Maybe because of censorship -
Your love and Baby wants to ride are two productions by Frankie Knuckes. For me He was the daddy of the House music, your love is poetics. These tracks are and will remain the most famous of Frankie Knuckes. If you are a classic House collector they will not be missing in your collection. -
This re-press is doing the rounds again. Not sure if it needs a new release page or not. Good news for me is the copy I have sounds true to the original. I saw Frankie Knuckles play this in a bunker club in Bournemouth back in the day and still love it. Speed’s still wrong on the label but the track tempo seems right.
