Presentationwise, what would you say is better, Civilization (this) or the original? I get theres some bonus tracks on here but the presentation of the boxset interests me more.
And yes, I know, its unlikely to come across a copy of the original, but still.
Also still mad at myself for not buying this in 2017 -

A beautifully put together compilation of long sought after Genocide Organ material. Containing vinyl only releases like Klan Kountry gives one reason enough to need this release. I recall seeing copies of Klan Kountry selling for $500+ on eBay in years past. If that wasn't enough, this release also contains a handful of compilation only tracks such as the classic Dogday.
All of that would make this release an instant purchase, but this first edition also includes a bonus CD of live material from 1990. This is actually the audio from an extremely limited VHS release Save Our Slaves: The Rise Of American Civilization. The audio isn't quite "audiophile" quality but sounds just fine. In fact, I think the slightly dirtier sound lends itself to some of the tracks. The live versions of Kill Useless Nations and Amazade Y Negri are particularly intense and powerful.
All of this material is accompanied by a beautifully printed 24-page booklet including additional imagery and information. The A5 digipak and hard case slipcover also make this really stand out. Essential for fans of Genocide Organ and Power Electronics.
