A super powerful album through and through! Undeniably a instant classic when it came out! Album is so brooding and heavy. Extremely hellish and grinding. Some pretty experimental moments happening on this one as well! First copy had annoying pops all over so I returned and thankfully received a pretty damn clean one! Great vinyl color! -

Incantation is that historically important name that doesn't need any special introduction. Over the years of their existence, they have rightfully earned their place of honor among the authorities of the death metal scene around the world. The band, like a heavy tank, is steadily moving forward, continuing to crush new and new enthusiastic listeners.
There is no need to wait for experiments or some kind of lyrics on "Profane Nexus" - we have morbid, sepulchral and uncompromising Death Metal of the highest standard. The range of musical forms allows itself to make deviations except on the side of Funeral Doom Metal, which creates an even more sick and vile aura in the already hopeless darkness of the Incantation music world. This album is as if carved in granite, it is monolithic.
The Relapse edition is made of high quality, printed at the GZ factory. Vinyl has a standard weight of about 140 grams, there are no problems with the sound. If we compare the sound of vinyl with the sound from a CD, then the character of the vinyl sound makes a much stronger impression - the sound is deeper, surround and natural.
The poligraphy printing is quite standard - a single outer envelope and a one double sided insert with lyrics and general information about the recording. The cover artwork was created by Eliran Kantor (today his paintings adorn many recordings). I think we have the best album artwork in the history of Incantation, although the band has always been famous for excellent artworks. Probably, the presence of a poster with such expressive art could enhance the status of this edition.
