Alfa Mist – Antiphon

How do 750 people have a pressing limited to 500? Idiocracy is upon us.

Great effort by artist and record label. Classy release. I hate to categorize stuff unnecessarily, but this may be Alfa Mist's best release by a hair. I have all four full length LPs. All are great so this splitting that hair. Price and availability have been problems so if you see it at a decent price.... presently NOT out of print.

Absolute belter. Modern jazz dosn't get better than this. Purchase x

I come back to this album frequently. To begin with the drumming annoyed me, found it lazy and uninspiring. It's good though, laconically lazily good. I enjoy it now, just to let you know.

The exposed part of the cd was filled with scratches when arrived. Audio is fine tho.

Great pressing. Sounds fantastic! Poly lined inner sleeves should be standard with this type of release.

The most recent re-issue plays as smooth as the music is. This album will be timeless for me I am sure.

The only complaint I could make would be that this deserves at least polylined inners. Apart from that it's a beautiful release. Nice gatefold, flat records that are quiet and sound excellent.

On my copy when the record finishes, instead of going on a loop within the dead wax it continues on the record's label! both sides of the 1st record do it. did anybody else experience the same thing with their copy?

Absolutely fantastic sound and pressing quality on this. Beast of an album, this one is a keeper.
