Excellent pressing with no issues. Dead silent, flat, no pops or surface noise. While the packaging is basic, this is much better than the self-titled debut album pressing I have. Very happy and will listen to this frequently.

Franz Ferdinand is another in a long line of recent dance rock bands, with the exception that they are really, really good. To me, this is their best album. Its full of songs that would chart well and become fan favorites. Although you may think that this would be a little weak given how much they crammed on a single piece of wax, this sounds a million times better than their self-titled debut. Tons of punch and dynamics, great separation, and sounds fantastic. One of the best aspects of the band is how well the guitarists play off each other, and this presentation really captures that very well. This is one you will likely re-visit many times. Well worth it.

I'm very happy with this release. No surface noise, the sound is not compressed. I was thinking ing FF on vinyl after my miserable experience with Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action on vinyl. I'm glad that eventually I went for it and ordered it.

Slight warp though. Does not affect anything, but mildly annoys.

I ing this up on vinyl almost 15 years ago, so very happy to see this repress, and to report that it sounds good. In an era where music was being compressed to within an inch of its life for the proliferation of mp3s, this one has decent dynamics. Some excellent songs on here, not quite the hit parade of their first record but a worthy successor nonetheless.

Received this and the first Franz Ferdinand 2021 reissues today and other than the spindle hole being extremely tight (fixed with some slight widening of the hole), I think these sound pretty good. That said I haven't heard any of the previous pressings, but I am overall pleased with the sound on these. The first side of this one even after the hole resizing is still slightly off center, but not enough to drive me crazy enough to return to Amazon.
