Killswitch Engage – The End Of Heartache

So as I feared from previous comments, my Side C was skipping way too much on the 3 tracks and I was getting very annoyed. I decided to whip up my Record Cleaner for the sole purpose of cleaning that vinyl (kinda overkill but I was desperate) and you know what.....it fixed the skipping completely! Must've been some manufacturing residue or something cause Side A and B were just fine. Was well worth setting up the cleaner!

The double lp was expensive but totally worth it. The cardboard cover is very neatly finished and the photos are neatly printed. The extra songs are a nice extra. The color of the lp looks cool. My record does not suffer from surface noise and is very quiet. The mastering of this album is very good. The bass is nice and the highs also sound very good. It sounds dynamic and spacious.

This record is genuinely dope. Tonal clarity, lots of bottom end coming through, and the etching and coloring are wicked. The bonus tracks w/ the original singer are a nice addition. The only issue here is how tight the gatefold jacket is. Kind of a challenge to put the records back in it.

This album sounds amazing. I could tell from the intro on track one it was going to be good. No skipping or scratchiness on the C side.

So everything sounded great until I got to the C side. The last track on there in particular skips a ton. Anyone else have this issue?

Such a phenomenal pressing, quality, playback, all of it... I have the As Daylight Dies album as well. Love both of these. Wonder if there will be more voting options for the other albums!

Sounds amazing, very happy with this pressing. Fits a little tight back into the sleeve, but that’s my only complaint.

#1567 Man, I wanted this for so long. Came close to blowing $300-500 a few times on the original Roadrunner pressing. I’m glad I didn’t though. My pressing is dead flat and mastered so well. Huge soundstage. Bright highs, punchy rich bass and drums. Reminded me of why I love vinyl so much. Sleeve is glossy and super high quality. Like a hard cover book almost. The bonus live cuts are recorded so so well, especially life to lifeless!!

A dead quiet pressing. This one is highly recommended. It's just as good as the recent pressing they did for As Daylight Dies. Alive or Just Breathing next, please?

Really pleased with this. It is flat (the only flat discs amongst 30 that I cleaned today) and I really love the sound. Has a bit more bottom end than what I - and the snare drum "snap" is a bit tamed bit it's a very smooth and heavy mix. Nice!
