Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark – Peel Sessions 1979-1983

My second copy bought to replace the first which had a scuff across track 1 side 2, has exactly the SAME damage.

Of All The Things We've Made (Peel Session Recorded 29/01/83, Transmitted 21/02/83) absent. Why?

My copy plays with quite a bit of surface noise at the beginning of both sides, which is disappointing.

Comes with a few clicks and a tiny bit of surface noise… GZ media as always. But besides that, it sounds great! I would‘ve preferred a double vinyl release so that each session takes up one side with 45 rpm but oh well, then it would be even more expensive, but then again it‘s RSD…

Beautiful version, only a pity that Electricity is not on it.

Mine was badly warped so do check it, as to keep it sealed and not being able to return it

These Peel Sessions are amazing quality and busting with feeling and emotion. seeing OMD as Eric's in Liverpool. They stunned a punk based crowd.

Looks like the RSD release will include Bunker Soldiers, the fourth track from the 1983 session. At last!
Always wondered why it was excluded from the original release as it is very different from the first version recorded in 1979, overall a nice update of the song in the vein of Dazzle Ships album.

This is an EXCELLENT Vinyl pressing - the LP is dead quiet with no pops, crackles etc. the sound quality is also excellent - OMD are "officially" releasing this for RSD 25, but if you can, I'd go for this copy of the release as it's available new for around £15, which is considerably cheaper than the "official" version will be, without sacrificing any qualtiy.
