The 2-disc Intrada edition is certainly very nice, being as it has the proper intro music, shorter, but still-important tracks like He's Gone and I'm Back/End Logo, and a superior transfer to this old 1989 CD. But when listened to in one sitting, the reuse of cues and the sheer length of the thing become very apparent, and it can be something of a fatiguing listen (plus the alternate takes on disc 2 are most likely something you'll only ever listen to once). However this original CD flows better as an album, and it's therefore only diehard fans who'll need to consider the expensive Intrada set.

Another very bad experience for me from mondo (after Magnolia and others which suffer very bad quality control).
Crack, pops, and even some glue residues which cause the arm to slip. I give up with mondo (and after sale service is very bad) -
Edited 3 years agoJust played my version and can confirm I don't have any playing issues, I don't have any defects or loud pops of static. Maybe I got lucky or maybe this version is good. If anything it was a very enjoyable listen and glad I got this version.

Unfortunately, all three soundtracks from this collection of splatter vinyl suffer seriously bad pressing quality with defects causing loud pops and static. As such, they are great for a display collection but sadly not great for listening enjoyment.

Is anyone knows how to make the difference between the Splatter release and the black one? Same barcode each. -
