Groundhogs* – Scratching The Surface

What's the real difference between this and the official pressing? How can I distinguish?

This has never been my favourite Groundhogs LP but I recently picked up an original 1969 Mint copy on the World Pacific Records Label and the sound is awesome. It's now quite high on my favourites list which is something I didn't think possible for this album. The recent remastered version isn't a patch on this edition.
Out of all the re-issues I must say that I like the Akarma release because it comes in a heavy card, gatefold sleeve but sound-wise, again, it's not a patch on this version.

It came to my attention, when I compared the backcover photo in Discogs with my copy: there is a printed name (actually stamped) "George W. Tweedy". This name is a record dealer in the USA. Years ago, and I mean many many years ago, I bought records from this man and he always stamped his items with this "George W. Tweedy" ........ so this is probably an unofficial one. at least the cover is and the Dead Wax info is the same.

BGO15LP scratching the surface have a strange copy all labels show groundhogs but side 1 is the the Welsh rockers Man and side 2 is the groundhogs picked up a little independent record shop locally.have an extensive groundhogs collection over 50 years but never come across this before.

Anyone able to compare to original UK and recent Remaster?

I used to have the original mono pressing and am considering a 2015 remastered vinyl pressing and wondered if anyone has heard it and can give an opinion as to the sound especially if you also know the original(I have heard some awful remastered records so very wary what I buy now)
