University Of California, San Diego

The University of California, San Diego (abbreviated as UC San Diego or UCSD) is a Public Ivy research university located in California, United States. Established in 1960 near the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego is the seventh oldest of the ten UC campuses. A number of bands and ensembles are associated with UCSD, most notably Red Fish Blue Fish.
