If you are interested in listening to some EXCELLENT Impulse Records era John Coltrane, but are more interested in his amazing artistry than whether or not a record is “collectible”, any of these “Mastery Of John Coltrane” sets is the ticket. If you are concerned about sound quality, I have the US pressings and they sound excellent. Not “the best” or “audiophile”, but these are analog mastered, and I hear nothing that would cause me to complain or think that they have not been manufactured with care. Highly recommended!
