It is a pity, that this whole catalogue have not been reissued digitally on spotify/beatport again like bedrock, sog for example.
This was one of the best label in golden progressive house era.

Outstanding label, almost every 12" is worth having. These used to be for sale digitally on 3Beat before it disappeared. I managed to get some a few years back, but would probably buy the entire back catalogue now. Does anyone know if they can still be bought online anywhere?

I don't know why boris.bunnik deleted his review but i know that he was right. Sumsonic was, no, it is one of the best progressive house labels out there. They constantly progressed their sound. The first releases contain monotone, dark, tribal-ish, and even psy-ish tracks. With ODD's "Don't Look At Me" things become brighter. Now the sound is more individual, uplifting, trancier, more complex. These releases mark the pinnacle of the label's history. The last seven releases are more on the housier side of things, sometimes even electro-fied.
Musically, the history of the label sums up the rest of the progressive house scene. Maybe it is no coincidence that the label stopped at the end of 2005, because afterwards more and more progressive labels started to produce dull and uninspired electro house. Maybe the sumsonic crew didn't want to jump on the bandwagon.
