A popular jazz hall, busy from the late 1940's onward, the Cooks Ferry Inn was also known as The Cooks Ferry Jazz Club.
By 1967, it had become revamped & hosted many up-and-coming UK bands who went on to considerable fame including The Yardbirds, Cream, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, & Mott The Hoople.
Closed in 1973, it has since been demolished.
