Canadian compilation series launched by Capitol Records-EMI Of Canada Limited in July 1987 highlighting Canadian artists on economically-priced CDs. Most CDs featured tracks from Capitol artists' back catalogues that were currently unavailable on CD at the time. Initially the releases all included a 3- fold-out insert and were housed in a specially-designed branded longbox. After early success with the series, many releases were additionally issued on cassette.
