Red Alert and Mike Slammer released some of the greatest tracks from the 1993-94 era of breakbeat hardcore on their own Slammin' Vinyl label, typically featuring ruff breaks, uplifting piano-lines, dub riffs and one or two bits blatantly lifted from earlier dance tunes. :) In later years the label also released happy hardcore anthems Rushin' On Pink Champagne and Eye Opener and to this day Slammin' still organize some of the biggest raves in Britain.
If you want a handy introduction to the label's classic early output then look out for the unmixed SV compilation CD's on Rumour Records and Gumh Recordings and for the 'Old Skool Collection' mix-CD that came free with Fast Car magazine in 2001 (all three are listed on Discogs).
