Sony DADC, Terre Haute

Sony DADC US manufacturing plant in Terre Haute, Indiana. Previously known as DADC, officially became Sony DADC in August 2005. Production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs ended at Terre Haute by early 2018, all other remaining media by mid 2022. The plant still operates as an assembly and distribution facility for Sony.

Note: Mould SID Code IFPI 5100 may appear on releases glass mastered at this plant following the closing of Sony Disc Manufacturing, Springfield in April, 2003. Since it has not been determined where these discs were pressed, a Pressed By credit cannot be assigned, nor can they be added as variants to releases where the pressing plant is known.

Matrices:
All matrices contain a Sony "DADC" manufacturing code (4-letter prefix followed by a hyphen and a 6 or 7-digit sequential number) and a glass master number (usually single digit, 1 indicating first master). Example CD matrix: DIDX-141156 2

DVD/SACD/DualDisc/Blu-ray matrices include an additional code A1 attached to the DADC code. Example DVD matrix: DVSS-4092420A1 1

Optical discs pressed by Sony DADC, Terre Haute also include a pressing code in the matrix (letter and 2-digit number, A01 indicating first pressing, usually mirrored).
