From the mid-80s to the mid-90s in Canada, you either got your various artists music compilations from PolyTel or Quality...and unlike Quality, PolyTel never edited down any songs in order to 'fit' them onto a compilation, which is the same thing K-Tel used to do on their compilations in the early-to-mid 70s.

PolyTel > Quality for that reason.
