Rough Trade is a group of independent record shops in the UK, US and Berlin, with headquarters in London, UK.
The first Rough Trade shop was opened in 1976 by Geoff Travis in the Ladbroke Grove district of west London. In 1978, the shop spawned Rough Trade Records. In 1982, the two separated and the shop remains an independent entity from the label / record company.
To be used for 'Exclusive Retailer' credits on editions pressed for Rough Trade Shops and roughtrade.com, releases with a Rough Trade Bonus Disc or compilations released by the record store (eg the Counter Culture (2) series).

    This US reseller provides excellent customer service. They respond immediately via email on the few occasions that I reached out to them. Recently I had emailed customer service letting them know I was unhappy with the quality of a purchase, , They offered me the option of a full refund, or a replacement copy with the return label for the defective item at their expense. I had not asked for this in my email. They responded with the offers within a few minutes.
    I could not be happier with their customer service team!
