Chesky Records

Classical music and jazz audiophile record label based in New York, founded in 1978, and owned by the brothers David Chesky.

1980s vinyl releases were standard weight. Later represses were done at RTI on 180 gram vinyl and featured RTI's HQ180 silver sticker on a perforated outer plastic bag.
For classical music issues, the pressing history is as follows:
1st issue through RC9: Technical information states "This record was pressed on 150 gram Teldec Virgin Vinyl." LPs are translucent held to bright light.
2nd issue: Technical information has a gap and ends on the word coloration.
3rd issue: barcoded--some on 180 gram with HQ-180 sticker.
