Lyntone Recordings Ltd. are best known as a manufacturer of flexi-discs, due to being the European licensee of the flexi-disc process that was developed and patented by Eva-Tone Soundsheets.

Lyntone Recordings Ltd. also pressed vinyl and very occasionally they self-released records with Lyntone as the stand alone label (e.g. We Wish You A Merry Christmas).

Originally owned by Mr & Mrs Lynton, eventually becoming a subsidiary of Damont Audio in the 1980s, before closing in December 1990.

References to Musitech, Damont and Lyntone often appear together in vinyl runouts. Metalwork could be processed at any of these plants and then pressed at Damont or Lyntone. The metalwork would receive extra engraving as it was ed between plants.
