Profile:	American record label from New York, also appears as "Laurie" only. Founded in 1958 by brothers Eliot Greenberg became a minority partner. For Bootlegs and unofficial releases see Laurie Records (2). The most successful artists on Laurie were Gerry & The Pacemakers. The label also distributed records under several subsidiary labels, including Providence Records. Laurie's name was changed in the early '80s to 3C Records; its masters are now owned by the Capitol Records unit of Universal Music Group.
