The company Dandelion Records Limited was dissolved on July 30th, 2013. Subsequently, the label name and associated web domains has been hijacked and used by bootleggers.

The label was named after one of Peel's hamsters. His publishing company, Biscuit, was named after his other hamster.
Peel: "It was never a success financially. In fact, we lost money, if I correctly, on every single release bar one. I did quite like it but it was terribly indulgent"
