Nashville Matrix

Profile:

Electroplating and metalwork operation located in Nashville, TN (USA).
Also named Nashville Phono Matrix, Inc., and called, Matrix Of Nashville, the company made metal parts for pressing plants, fathers / mothers / stampers, during three decades from the beginning of the 60’s. The company was located right next door to Southern Plastics. Their plating jobs can be identified by the words "Nashville Matrix" stamped in cursive on vinyl records run-outs. Sometimes, it looks like "Nashville Mains" or "Nashville Matnia", due to a worn out stamper. ‘N.M.’ can also be found, as well as, several exclusive client numbers in conjunction with the previous identifiers, or not, sometimes. Each time, ‘Plated At Nashville Matrix’ role should be listed, as well as, the respective ‘Pressed By’ roles.

Exclusive Nashville Matrix client numbers actually known (not to be shown as Pressing plant identifiers per runout thread) :
5: Plated At N.M. + Pressed By Archer Record Pressing (1962-1985)

Note we use ‘Mastered At’ for ‘Plated At’, with a note about LCCN role discrepancy (Plated At Nashville Matrix, in example). Please, do not confuse with Nashville Record Productions Inc..
