CD manufacturing started in 1987, after installing a CD manufacturing line. The plant is often directly credited on releases as "Made in by PDO" or "Made in by Philips and Du Pont Optical". Unlike PDO plants in other regions, PDO, credits appear on the CD label rather than being stamped in the hub (as with PDO, UK). The matrix usually also has "00 L7".

End of 1991, this plant was renamed to PRS, Louviers.
