Edited 8 years agoHardkiss for me was so much more than just another label it came across as its own little movement within the West Coast Rave scene. I can only describe Hardkiss as a spiritual (I hate that term) thing.
I was lucky enough to go to a party that Garth was either putting on &/or headlining early in 94 when I was in San Fran for work. Robbie or Gavin was playing in a small room and no one was talking just listening, swaying & smoking ts and when I got dragged back into the main room it felt like the main room full of aggression & unpleasant noise in comparison to the beauty of what the Hardness guys were doing.
Maybe thats what Hardkiss is to me a thing of absolute beauty in what can be an unpleasant world. -
