Posh Boy

I Was there when Robbie (Poshboy) first tried to signed the Adolescents. It was a Fear show at Madame Wongs. Lee Ving and I tried to convince Frankie Agnew not to do it. Robbie's rep was pretty bad with the bands then. But the Ads went ahead and signed and Amoeba came out on the first Rodney on the Roque compilation. And Amoaba became a punk anthem worldwide. So looking back at all the bouting Robbie got from the bands I'd have to say they were wrong. Yah, they didn't get paid much but the exposure was phenomenal.
So say what you will about Poshboy but you gotta give credit, would the scene have flourished the way it did without him? I don't think so.
