'Queen Productions Limited' was also formerly the parent company of 'Mountain Studios (Montreux) Ltd' (UK) and 'Mountain Studios S.A.', which was incorporated in Switzerland; both companies were associated (legal entities) behind Mountain Studios, previously owned by Queen.

Per the confirmation statement, made on 2 March 2025, the company is fully owned by Rock Bidco Limited (and is also identified as the sole person with significant control). Rock Bidco Limited entered the company's ownership in four phases:
* 28 May 2024 - buyout of the Freddie Mercury estate's entire shareholding
* 29 May 2024 - buyout of John Deacon's 23 shares
* 30 May 2024 - buyout of Roger Taylor's 3 shares
* 7 November 2024 - Rock Bidco Limited becomes the full owner of the company, acquiring John Deacon's and Roger Taylor's rest of their shares, as well as acquiring Brian May's entire shareholding.
Sony Group Corporation is identified as the sole person with significant control for Rock Bidco Limited, owning (as stated in a company incorporation certificate) a single one-pound share through SMG-One LLC, an of Sony Music Entertainment (SMG means "Sony Music Group").
The Queen catalogue acquisition by Sony was not publicised in industry's publications. This change also led to the conclusion of the 35-year partnership of Queen and EMI label, remains Queen's worldwide catalogue distributor.

The company's current ed office address is common for Sony Music's UK subsidiaries, excluding companies of the Sony Music Publishing division.
