This is a DG series, not a label on its own. Only add it in the series field, together with the actual label of the release.

Deutsche Grammophon series of compilations from the 1970s. All feature similarly-themed white-object artwork, and were intended as introductions to various classical composers/styles/themes.

Please use Canada as country for German-made releases. Although many of these releases state "Made in " and have GEMA as the rights society, they were shipped to and marketed primarily in Canada. Note that the liner notes are only in English, which wouldn't make sense for German-marketed releases from a German label. The Canadian series launched on August 1, 1971.

The series was quite successful and eventually distributed in other countries, usually manufactured locally. For these, the country of manufacture is usually the primary market.

Some titles were later reissued as budget titles on Deutsche Grammophon Special and pressed in Canada.
