Profile:	Brazilian record company (1971 - 1978). Often credited as "CBD Phonogram" or as "Cia. Brasileira De Discos Phonogram". Established on April 15, 1971 after renaming Companhia Brasileira De Discos, which was already owned by Philips since 1958. In 1978 renamed to Polygram Discos Ltda. The company also operated a vinyl manufacturing plant in Barra Da Tijuca/Rio de Janeiro. Lacquer cuts are identifiable by a "200" in the runout matrix. NOTE: This is not a label.
