Fonogram, S.A.

Spanish record company, established in 1962 in Madrid as subsidiary of the Dutch Philips Phonografische Industrie NV and later of Phonogram International BV.
Previously Philips presence in Spain was by Departamento De Discos Philips.

Fonogram, S.A. also operated a vinyl and cassette manufacturing plant, that later became COFASA. Lacquer cuts and pressings are identifiable by 850 in the runouts.

In 1984 they were merged with Discos CBS, S.A., Madrid.
