Strawberry Mastering

Profile:

Mastering and lacquer cutting studio in London, UK, opened around May 1978, closed 1983. Do not confuse with Strawberry Studios, in Hérouville.

The studio was founded at the instigation of Tom Hidley of Eastlake. Strawberry was one of the most expensive mastering studios in the UK, but also one of the most highly regarded.

Cutting equipment: Neumann VMS 70 lathe with Ortofon S cutting control unit and Ortofon cutter head.
