Tavastia Klubi

Popular rock music venue and restaurant in Helsinki, Finland. The building has been used for different kind of entertainment purposes since it was built in 1931. In the beginning it was theater and dances, but during the 1960s they started the concentrate more on rock music. The current name, Tavastia klubi, was given in 1970.

The building itself is owned by Hämäläis-Osakunta, one of the student nations of the University of Helsinki. The club has been operated by a private company, Helsingin Rock & Roll Oy, since 1991, and they rent the building from the nation.
