Moodymann IS House Music and IS House Music of the highest order! You will not find better anywhere in the world and all his music will stand the test of time, like all greats do. You can complain about how hard is is to get his tracks, how expensive the secondary market is, but this is all for a reason. We should be thankful someone puts in as much effort and cares so much about his craft to then share with us to enjoy. One of THOSE labels. one of those labels that made house and its friends fun to be around speakers for when it gets played. Music for DJ's to bang on, and sound like they're good or something. and Music for dj's that can beat it, for when they need to send peoples neck hairs into a tizzy. Outspoken in content, reissued occasionally with different songs, no info, questionable in concerns to some of the samples he's gotten away with using. Now the label seems to have slowed to a trickle or perhaps closed up, with Mahogani music in its infancy.
