Japanese record company which was established in 1997 and part of the Bertelsmann Music Group.
In 1999 it merged with BMG Funhouse, Inc.
BMG Japan, Inc. was re-established in 2005 after BMG Funhouse, Inc. was renamed.
In 2009 it was split into two divisions: Sony Music Japan International Inc. and closed down.
