Once Canada's largest independent manufacturer and distributor of records and pre-recorded tapes. Also credited on releases as Phonodisc Ltd. For credits in French see Phonodisc Limitée.

Established in March 1956 by Don McKim. Headquartered in Toronto. The operating facilities were located in Scarborough. After Don McKim died in 1976, his wife Elizabeth McKim took over as president. She sold the company to Toronto businessman James A. Trainor on October 20, 1978.
Not to be confused with other Phonodisc companies (e.g. Phonodisc Ltd. in the UK), owned by PolyGram.
