Musique Française d'Aujourd'hui

"Musique française d'aujourd'hui" is not a label, not a collection, nor a series. MFA is a public-funded agency providing financial and facilities to labels for the production and release of music by French artists.

It was founded in 1978 by French Fondation SACEM (also with SACD since 1988) to give public financial in the releasing of records for French and international market alike, performed by contemporary French musicians. MFA mostly Classical music, jazz, improvised and traditional music. More than 600 albums have already been helped through 137 different labels.
