HF

Profile:

Unofficial CD label of unknown origin established circa 1995, with at least 40 releases (known catalogue numbers HF 9511 to HF 9556).

All HF releases should be marked "Unofficial"
Only those with "Un produit Luxembourgeois" should be noted so.
OSA/ACD on these discs is a common bootleg identifier (not a rights society).

HF was marketed as "High Fidelity" by a number of independent distributors at the time, however these releases never actually had a proper label name. The label was from the same people as Germanofon. Some early ones had the text "Un produit Luxembourgois" on the disc label and also GEMA as rights society, most only had a boxed OSA/ACD.
Chris Youlden (of Savoy Brown) identifies these as Chrome Dreams on his site, however they were just one of many distributors that handled these discs.

"The label was from the same people as Germanofon." – that label was used for bootlegs of otherwise unavailable Krautrock LPs, i.e. rips from a vinyl originals. Products appeared early 1990s onwards. Presumably HF used for albums of the same era but further afield.
