Melting Pot Sound

Profile:

Small acetate-cutting service set up by Walter Gibbons in 1972. They mainly cut 7" bootlegs of hard-to-find funk and early disco tracks. There were also a handful of 10" singles produced. Most of the acetates were copies, but a small number of titles were remix edits created by Walter. The label closed in 1975.
