The story of Nordung...
I bought the picture disc of the Lumb Sisters, which was the worst pressing I ever got. I got a second one, just in case, and it was more of the exact same.
I wrote this here, and the post was deleted.
I wrote to the label, and they told me there was no pressing problems with it, that they double checked it
I replied, that unfortunately mine is so noisy that you can barely hear the music.
They told me that I don't understand vinyl, and that it's difficult to press, and that my turntable must be shitty.
To which I replied that I actually run a pressing plant and know everything about that process, and tha I know how to calibrate and take care of my audio gear.
I even offered help to understand what the issue was, with my expertise.
To this I was met with a homophobic, antisemitic, pornographic barrage of insults and images, over a period of time.
The guy told me that he was rich, partying all night and going home in his Ferrari to have sex with his supermodel girlfriend, and that I was a loser record collector.
...
The label claimed to be based in Luxemburg, but they were italian, as were their details.

Unfortunately for me, I had also pre ordered 3 different records on their web site.
As everyone else, I didn't get those, and one of the 3 was actually never even made. We were bounced around through a mailing list for close two 2 years, including from a fake person - Astrid the intern - who was as expected revealed to be a fake person alias, we were threatned, when people started to communicate with each other, exchanging experiences in dealing with this label, and at one point, communication ceased.
I did not get my money back, obviously.
At one point, Steven and Sara Stapleton did try to help out, with false promises after false promises from the label.
They did manage to convince to paypal me money, but he sent it to a paypal address that is not mine, if he even did, After that, no more communication was ever to be had.
You can find here another comment that details the closing message of the label on Facebook, anouncing they were closing shop, not intending to refund people, and insulting them once again.

I still have all these emails, screen captures, etc, if anyone is interested.
Will this guy resurface? Maybe, and we should be attentive to this.
It is a shame fans of the Nurse With Wound galaxy were treated like this, taken advantage of, and that Steven, Sara and Andrew did not see what kind of person this was early enough. The guy might have meant well originally, but soon did not care two bits about that, and bullied a community in incredible ways.
Let's not have this happen again.

Not sure if this is worth mentioning...Just checked my collection, I placed 2 orders with them in 2021. I received both, although a couple of email exchanges with someone called Astrid were needed to get the records. Then in 2022, I started to be copied in to numerous emails from someone that had an issue with them. Ended up having to block them.

Is this label defunct now? Links to website and Facebook no longer valid.

Nordung annonce a new limited edition NWW release.
Warning!!!
Last time I ordered, and paid, releases from Nordung, 2 x NWW boxes and 1 x Coil pic disc box, I never got the items. When asking for it, I never got any reply. They stolen from me aprox 400€. Dont buy from them, they dont send you the items. When I first wrote about this on Facebook, lots of other people told me that they had the same experience. Im a big hard core fan of NWW and I have mailed Steven Stapleton about this. I hope he will find out what the problem is with Nordung.

From March 2021 I am waiting for the sending of LPs or a refund (245Euro !!!). As of September 2021, there is no information from anyone at Nordung! I don't want to use strong words, but the situation is not normal.

Unfortunately no response from Rain, no refund for unrealized March 2021! Embarrassing!

WARNING: Scammers, impostors and liars! I paid a lot of money for box sets and received nothing but wrong tracking numbers. Worst experience in 30 years of record collecting! Don't buy (at least directly) from this label!
