Regency Media

Regency Media was an Australian optical disc manufacturer formed in 2006 when AAV Regency, giving them 100% ownership of the company.

In January 2008, the company entered a t venture with Indian Saregama Ltd to manufacture VCDs and DVDs under a newly-formed company called Saregama Regency Optimedia.

In 2010, Regency Media acquired and resurrected the recently bankrupted Shock Entertainment.

As of 2011 Regency Media was headquartered in the suburb of Kew in Melbourne, with two manufacturing plants:
· Northmead, NSW - CD, DVD, and Blu-ray disc manufacturing
· Braeside, VIC - CD and DVD manufacturing

The company went into istration in February 2023.
