Their vinyl formulations were and are second to none, especially when they peaked in the late '70's - Mofi had them press their original master recordings for years - super low noise floor superior to any UHQR or most anything considered audiophile today...I always look for a Japanese Victor pressing of anything before I get anything else - the best and most consistent quality in the world....!

I own a release labeled SJX-209 but the whole release is written in japanese so I can't identify it and can't make an entry of it. :/

This company made some incredible sounding records. In my 35 years of buying LPs, I have never had a dud pressing made by Victor and actively seek them out. How I wish they still made records instead of some of the wretched pressings, which have to be endured these days.
