Comment below was posted 10 years ago and still sounds spot on! This label has stood the test of time and continues to excel in it's releases! Fracture & Neptune have ears for only the best cuts. Very impressive catalogue.

      Fantastic label!
Fracture and Neptune seriously know how to hit the spot! By maintaining a tasteful amount of both 90's aesthetics, and modern innovations, they have created a sound that manages to be familier, yet highly original- and alltogether fresh! ...VERY fresh!

There's no way to avoid comparing Astrophonica's style to the Techstep sounds of the late 90's: Prominent break edits and liberal utilization of sampled sound effects give their songs a very organic, funky, and jungle-esque feel. The overall attitude and approach to the music which is presented here on this label seems indeed to be very much in key with the teachings of the oldschool ancients. But make no mistake; This is no mere attempt to recreate the past, nor is it a regurgitation of tired cliches: Fracture & Neptune have managed to lay down so many unique innovations on the table, that this is clearly not the case. I myself see it as somthing of a fresh start, with a clean slate. Instead of attempting to build upon our own past decade of jump up and clownstep, it makes more sense, to me of course, to take a step back to the decade before, to a time in which the style was still very much in it's purest form, and to start from there, rebuilding anew.

So to sum it all up...
Astrophonica: A perfect mixture between past and present, with maybe just a hint of future sprinkled on top!
Keep up the good work Astrophonica!
