Kakao M

Kakao M Corporation is a South Korean entertainment label, established in 1978. It was founded as Loen Entertainment. In January 2016, Kakao Corporation acquired a 76.4% stake in the company. In March 2018, the label changed its name to Kakao M Corporation and in December 2018, the rebranding to that name was approved by the label's board of directors.
Since March 2, 2021, Kakao M has changed its name to kakao Entertainment, after its fusion with KakaoPage. Kakao M became defunct, with KakaoPage being the surviving entity.

Kakao M keeps the same catalog numbering for its releases as Loen Entertainment did: The L10000 series and L20000 series.
