Arvato, USA began in 1984 as "QTI" Quality tape Incorporated owned by RCA. In 1985 QTI, along with RCA, was bought by Sonopress USA. Sonopress Inc. was formed in 1990. Arvato Storage Media GMBH became involved in Sept.1996 and Arvato Digital Services LLC was formed in April 2008. The firm shut down CD DVD production in April 2016 but continued other avenues of business.
